November

In Mrs. Currier’s class, we love to write stories about the books we have read. Our favorite story was called Run, Turkey, Run! We wrote about our turkeys dressing up  to avoid getting eaten on Thanksgiving Day. I must say, we have quite a creative bunch this year. I think my favorite turkey disguise was a mom cleaning the kitchen. In Math, we have been learning about money and time. In social studies we learned all about the first Thanksgiving. We even had a chance to take a virtual field trip on the Mayflower during our computer class. One of our favorite special days in November is family history day. We each brought in a special item from the past to share in class. Of course, the best day in November is when we have our Thanksgiving Feast. What a great way to culminate our month of thankfulness!
